Come and work with us and not only will you receive a basic salary and bonus scheme, you can also enjoy a number of additional benefits.

Listening

• Being happy at work is really important to us, so we undertake an annual questionnaire to find out what you like and what you don't so we can continue to improve.
• We also have a team meeting once a month, in which we have an opportunity for the Team Representative to ask all the difficult questions everyone is itching to ask. This spot is rather like Prime Minister's Question Time.
• Being listened to and being asked for ideas and suggestions. You can really make a difference.

Having Fun

• We have regular get togethers, including a summer and Christmas party, which the nursery pays for in full.

Training

• We feel it is really important to stay up to date and train as a team and so we shut the nursery early three times a year. This is in addition to team meetings and ad hoc training that we might send you on.
• We partner with our local colleges and release people to attend NVQ courses, so you will continue to grow and develop.

Discounts

• We have negotiated a number of discounts with local businesses, such as local hairdressers and gyms for you to make full use of.
• If you are qualified and wish to bring your children to the nursery, we will negotiate an individual discount for you.

Flexible Working

• We always take into account people's individual needs and family circumstances and will try to accommodate these wherever possible. A number of our team enjoy flexible arrangements that suit them.

Uniform

• We provide you with a good quality uniform.

Holiday

• You are entitled to 20 days holiday a year, in addition to Bank Holidays.
• As a recognition of long service, if you have worked with us for more than three years they you will enjoy an additional extra day (i.e. 21 days) and then again when you have worked for us for over five years (i.e. 22 days).

Bonus Scheme

Join The Wigwam Day Nursery and not only will you receive a basic salary, which is extremely competitive in comparison with similar nurseries in the area, you can supplement this with some generous bonuses.

• Every three months we run a questionnaire to find out how well our customers have found us. For every customer that says you have been excellent you will receive a £5 bonus. This can be quite significant; in the last payroll one member of our team received an additional £65 this way alone. If, however, you get a poor response, then you will have £5 deducted from your bonus tally. Just to put this in context, this has never happened!
• If you recommend a friend and we successfully recruit them, after they have worked with us for six months, we will pay you an extra £250.
•  We operate a suggestion scheme: for every new idea that you come up with, whether we use it or not, we will pay you an extra £5.
