The Queens Birthday

by Emma G 16. June 2009 19:45

On Friday we decided to celebrate the Queen’s Birthday.

We spent the week running up to it by the children making flags and crowns and then come Friday we invited all the parents to come along for a party the team and all the children dressed up in either red, white and blue or as Kings and Queens, the reading evening post and the reading chronicle came out and took pictures so please do look out in the paper for us.

It was a really fun afternoon so thank you to all of you that came along and took part

If anyone feels passionately about celebrating anything else then please do let me know and we can certainly look into doing it. You can either email me direct, or feel free to share ideas by posting comments on this blog.
