After Rebecca's blog at the end of July, I wanted to update you on our thinking on how best to let you know what we are planning to do and what we have done. We are changing our planning to look forwards over the next six weeks, spending a week on each area of the Early Years Foundation Stage. We know that you like the weekly e-mailed link on what the children have enjoyed over the week and any birthdays or children that are moving rooms and it's great that this is working for you.
The suggestion is that we put the new six weekly plan in the "normal slot" on the website and rename this from Weekly Plans to Six Weekly Plans. This would also include birthdays and room moves that are coming up - so this would basically be what we are planning to do in the future. What we have done over the previous week will then be put into a blog, and so the added benefit of this is that you can look back over previous weeks as the blog grows. We plan to give this a go from September - I hope this'll work, please let us know what you think!
