Have you taken your Learning Journal home recently?

We have been working really hard on our learning journals and making them more interesting and informative for you, as well as focused (so not putting in lots of our observations, instead things your child does for the first time or something really special).

Have you taken it home recently and if so was it different?

If you haven’t taken it home recently, please let us know what we can do to change this.

Just in case you are unsure, your child’s learning journal contains their learning objectives they are working towards for each area of learning, such as physical development, as well as photographs and artwork and our observations .

Your comments on what your child has been up to at home or at the weekend are so important as we can then build on that here at nursery.  If you haven’t done so already please do pass on this information – even if you tell your keyworker and they write it down for you!
