An activity we carried out this week was junk modelling, we covered the table with various materials including large and small boxes, lids, cartons, paper ribbon and cardboard tubes. The children worked in small groups and shared the materials well. They talked to each other and spoke about what they were making and added to each others. This is a good creative activity and also works on fine motor and communication skills.
