Green fingers

This week we have been enjoying the lovely weather, being very busy in the garden. We had a great time gardening we weeded our vegetable patch ready for us to plant our vegetables. We will be planting tomato’s courgettes and peppers. They have been growing nicely in our cups, but we now need to plant them in to the soil so they can keep growing.

Whilst gardening we went on an insect hunt too. We found lots of worms and a ladybird. They tickled our hands when we held them.

Our experiences in the garden have been excellent for encouraging the children to be interested in their environment and be actively involved in change
