Our Children's Rooms
Here at The Wigwam, we cherish and nurture every child we are privileged to care for, from six weeks, until they leave the nursery for school. We know that little minds have big ideas. Imaginative and insatiable, there really is no stopping them! Based around clearly defined developmental stages and informed by close liaison with you and Rebecca, our in-house Early Years Specialist, our curriculum carefully nurtures your child's development every step of the way. We provide a diverse community, so what ever your needs, we look forward to discussing any individual needs that you may have.
The nursery has three rooms, which cater for the different age ranges within the nursery. For more information on the different rooms at The Wigwam Day Nursery, please click on the images below.
Since home is where the heart is, our Tiny Turtles room follows your routine and your baby's lead to ensure the very best level of care. Your baby will develop a strong bond with its Key Person in this group so you'll always have a point of contact who knows all about their individual likes, dislikes and quirks! As your baby gets on the move, we stay ahead of them with lots of fun-filled activities, which you'll read all about in your very own Baby Diary!
Because there is no one in your child's life more
important than you, we work alongside each parent on their little one's
progression towards independence. Encouraging our children to live their nursery
life to the full through exploration and experimentation, we build our
Scampering Squirrel activities around personal strengths and interests -
illuminating your bright spark with learning through play.
During the final stage of your child's journey at The Wigwam, each
Key Person works closely with our in-house specialists to ensure the days, weeks
and months spent here help your child transition confidently to school. But
we're not just preparing them for school; we're preparing them for life. That's
why you'll find our Dancing Deer enjoying a stimulating environment in which to
learn through everyday experiences..
