NCT Reading Sling Library

At The Wigwam Day Nursery in Reading we are delighted to announce our sponsorship of the NCT Reading Sling Library. The NCT offer a wide range of services including antenatal classes and postnatal groups to help you meet other parents before and after the birth of your baby. We know how important it is to be able to access information and support. And that’s why we’re so pleased to be able to support the NCT Reading Branch with all their hard work.

If you’re unsure about using a sling or baby carrier, or would like to try out different options, the the NCT Reading Sling Library is your ideal starting point. Baby wearing is hugely practical both for getting things done around the home, and getting out and about. It certainly makes the nursery and school run easier!

The sling library is held weekly at Tuesday’s bumps and babies group at The Parkside Cafe. You can attend between 1:30-2:30pm.

There is a selection of slings and carriers available for you to try. You’ll also find NCT Reading Sling Library baby wearing consultants on hand to answer your questions and find the right sling for you and your baby.

The sling library is free, and hire charges are only £3 a week. This prices includes a demonstration and help so you can go home feeling confident in how to use the sling.
