Hello & Welcome to The Wigwam Day Nursery Reading

Thank you for visiting The Wigwam Day Nursery. Our family-run nursery is the only day nursery in Reading that’s open 7.30am – 6pm.

We have places for babies until they go to school. Our wonderful environment reflects a calm, homely space filled with authentic treasure to find and natural resources to explore. All of this promotes our vision of enabling children to have a love of learning, supporting their transitions through their developmental stages and their move to school.

In order to have more of a family feel about the nursery and allowing children access to more than one room we group the children into two groups – under 2 year olds and over 2 year olds. Children of different ages will be given the opportunities to play and learn from each other, just as siblings do at home.

The Wigwam Day Nursery Reading proudly offers children opportunities to share in inter-generational visits and other links with our local community and an all-inclusive fee package which means that wipes and nappies are included too! To find out more about our open ended play approach to learning and how we use real life resources, book a personal tour today!
