Meet our friendly team
Nursery Manager and SENCO: Katherine Rose (on maternity leave)
My Qualifications: Early Years Teacher Status,
Additional Training: Role of The SENCO, Attention Autism
I have worked in Early Years for 12 years; since leaving school. At first I volunteered at a local nursery and this enabled me to realise that I had a passion for working with children. At an early age I obtained my ASA Level 1 and 2 Swimming Instructor Qualifications and worked part-time teaching swimming to children aged 3-11. This encouraged me further to pursue a career working with children.
I then went on to complete my BA (Hons) in Childcare and Education before continuing to gain my Early Years Teacher Status at Reading University.
I joined The Wigwam in July 2017 as the Preschool Room Leader and thoroughly enjoyed my time in that role. I have been lucky enough to further my career in the Deputy Manager role and now as Manager. I look forward to what the future brings!

Cook: Rana Marshall
“I used to be a school teacher, After moving to England and raising my children I decided I would like a career change and as cooking has always been a passion of mine, I retrained as a chef at Reading College. At The Wigwam I have the added bonus of cooking nutritious food for the children. It is lovely to see them all enjoying their meals.”
