A warm welcome from the Nursery Manager, Lois Smith.
I have worked in Early Years settings for over 12 years since I first completed my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education at Oxford college. I had always wanted a career within childcare, and it was during my placements in Early Years settings, that I developed a true passion for working within this sector.
When I secured my very first job as a Nursery Nurse back in 2009, my career progressed smoothly alongside my knowledge and determination. This led me to take a Nursery Mangers role in 2016 and I decided I wanted to progress my knowledge of Early Years deeper. So, I began completing a BA (Hons) in Childcare and Education with Oxford University and I proudly graduated in 2019.
I joined The Wigwam family in December 2020 as the Nursery Manager and I am truly excited to see what the future brings for me here!
